When MicrobeMS is started, the user is presented with two windows: the main user dialog box and a command line window. The former allows interaction with the program, while the latter displays input parameters and non-standard errors. These messages are stored in a log file, logfile.txt, located in the following directories:

MicrobeMS standalone version, Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

Windows user directory, usually C:\Users\WindowsUserName\Documents\MATLAB (DiaryDir),
where WindowsUserName is the current Windows user name.
The contents of the log file can be accessed via the link open the log file of MicrobeMS
   (see the MicrobeMS program group)

MicrobeMS pcode toolbox under Matlab, Windows operating system (W8/W8.1/W10/W11):

Windows user directory, usually C:\Users\WindowsUserName\Documents\MATLAB (DiaryDir)
where WindowsUserName denotes the current Windows user name.

Message reporting can be switched on, or off by choosing diaryon, or off from the File pulldown menu.

When reporting problems and software failures (bug reports) please send the file logfile.txt to the following e-mail address:
